When a Payment Is Confirmed
How long confirmation takes
Both networks settle in a few seconds. Brykto then confirms it, which can take up to 20 seconds more.
From your customer tapping confirm to you seeing Paid, expect well under a minute. The payment page updates on its own, so nobody needs to refresh anything.

How long a link stays open
This depends on where the link came from.

Checkout button and API links are short on purpose. They are created at the moment a customer is ready to pay, so they do not need to sit open. A link you email as an invoice does need to wait, which is why it gets 7 days.
When a link expires
An expired link cannot be paid. Your customer sees a message asking them to request a new one from you.
You can bring an expired link back from your dashboard, which gives it a fresh 7 days. See Managing payment links.
