Managing Payment Links
Statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting for payment |
| Paid | Payment confirmed |
| Expired | The time ran out before it was paid |
| Cancelled | You closed it yourself |
The tabs above the list separate links you created by hand from the ones your checkout buttons and the API created.
Cancelling a link
Open the link and click Cancel. It can no longer be paid.
Only a pending link can be cancelled. One that is already paid or expired cannot be.
Reactivating an expired link
Open the link and click Reactivate. It becomes payable again with a fresh 7 days.
This works on expired links only. A cancelled link cannot be brought back, so create a new one instead.
Marking a link as paid
If a customer paid you some other way, or paid without the reference so Brykto could not match it, open the link and click Mark as Paid.
This closes the link, records the full amount as received, and sends your notifications and webhook exactly as a real payment would.
Two things to know before you use it:
- Only a pending link can be marked as paid.
- It cannot be undone.
