When a Customer Pays from an Exchange
The situation
Your customer does not have LOBSTR or Xaman. They hold their digital currency on an exchange and want to send it from there.
This works, but it needs care from them.
What they need to copy
The payment page shows manual details for exactly this case. All three matter:
- The address, exactly as shown.
- The exact amount. Not approximately.
- The memo or destination tag. This is the one people miss.
Why the reference matters
Without it, the funds still arrive in your wallet, but Brykto cannot tell which payment they belong to. You would have to match it up and mark the link paid yourself.

Exchanges that cannot send one
Some cannot attach a memo or destination tag at all. If theirs cannot, every payment will land unmatched.
The cleanest answer is to ask them to install a wallet app and pay from there. A few minutes once, then every payment after that is a single tap.
The amount often arrives short
Exchanges usually take a withdrawal fee out of the amount sent. If your customer types your exact figure, you can receive slightly less than you asked for.
Brykto allows 0.1% on USDC, USDT0 and RLUSD, and 2% on XLM and XRP. A withdrawal fee is normally larger than that, so ask them to add the fee on top rather than letting it come out of your payment.
