What your customer sees

On a computer, a QR code to scan with their phone.
On a phone, a button that opens LOBSTR or Xaman directly.
Paying from an exchange, your address, the exact amount, and the reference to copy across.

There is no password on a payment link. That is what makes it easy to send, and it means you should treat it like an invoice rather than a secret.

It also means a link is good for one payment. Once it is paid, it closes.

Do not put a payment link on your website

A link on a web page gets paid once and is then dead for every visitor after that.

For a website, use a checkout button instead. It creates a fresh link for each customer who clicks it.
