Connecting Your Wallet
Overview
Brykto is non-custodial. All payments go directly to your wallet. You connect your wallet at step 3 of onboarding.
When you select your country, Brykto suggests a wallet to match it.

This is a suggestion, not a restriction. The asset you pick in the next step decides your network: USDC, USDT0 or XLM puts you on Stellar, RLUSD or XRP puts you on the XRP Ledger.
Connecting LOBSTR
- Open LOBSTR and create an account if you do not have one.
- Set up a federation address - for example,
yourbusiness*lobstr.co. - In Brykto onboarding, enter your federation address and click Verify.
- Brykto resolves your federation address to a Stellar wallet address and saves it.
Connecting Xaman
- Install Xaman on your phone.
- In Brykto onboarding, click Connect Xaman.
- A QR code appears on screen. Open Xaman on your phone and scan the QR.
- Approve the sign-in request in Xaman. Your XRP Ledger address is linked.
After connecting
Step 4 checks that your wallet can receive the asset you chose.
If you chose USDC, USDT0 or RLUSD, your wallet needs a trustline to that asset first. See Stablecoin Payments for how to add one. If you chose XLM or XRP, there is nothing to set up.
