Your Success Page

What it does

If you set a Success URL on your button, your customer is sent to that page a couple of seconds after their payment confirms.

Leave it blank and they stay on the Brykto payment page instead, where they see a confirmation and can email themselves a receipt.

What to put on it

Whatever finishes the job for your customer:

• A thank you, and what happens next
• Delivery or collection details
• A download link for something they bought
• Your contact details in case something went wrong

Keep it short. They have just paid and mainly want to know it worked.

Setting it up

The page has to already exist on your site. Create it first, then paste its address into the Success URL field on your button.

It does not need to be in your menu. Most success pages are meant to be arrived at rather than browsed to.

If you are selling a download

The success page is an ordinary web address, so anyone who has it can open it whether they paid or not.

For a low value download that is usually fine. For anything you cannot afford to give away, send the file by email once the payment shows in your dashboard.
